We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Richard Harris as Key Account Manager Americas, effective March 16, 2021.
To this role, Mr. Harris brings several years of industry experience. Mr. Harris’ original desire was Law Enforcement but during college he worked the warehouse at Burlington Northern Air Freight (aka BAX Global) in Detroit. After moving to Southern California and working at the corporate office of BAX in Newport Beach, Mr. Harris’ future fully transitioned to transportation and logistics.
Mr. Harris’ logistics and transportation experience includes domestic air freight, air charter coordination, Less Than Truckload, Full Truckload, cross-dock, warehouse logistics, and for the past 10 years international freight forwarding business development. He enjoys providing solutions to clients and installing a “MEME” mentality (Maximum Efficiency with Minimum Effort) when providing information and services to the client. Vince Lombardi, one of the greatest American Football Coaches one said, “Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.” Mr. Harris’ work ethic tries to mirror this statement.
Mr. Harris has been a “Michigander” all his life with the exception of the brief time in California. He is a Detroit sports fan (Red Wings being #1) and enjoys riding his Harley throughout our beautiful State. Speaking of his Harley, he also enjoys vacationing every August in Sturgis South Dakota during the annual Sturgis Bike Week. Mr. Harris is married with two children and three granddaughters.
Mr Harris ‘position manages relationship with our key accounts. In his role, he will win, retain and develop largest and strategic customers assigned to him. Mr. Harris reports directly to Timo Harres , Head of Sales Americas, and is based in the Detroit office.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Gonzalo Sanchez Gomez as Key Account Manager Americas, effective March 16, 2021.
Mr. Sanchez brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new role at DACHSER.
He is a graduate of the business administration career and from an early age he has focused on the area of Supply Chain Logistics.
He demonstrates extensive multicultural expertise in business developments strategies supported by more than 25 years collaboration with German, French, North American, UK , Korean and Mexicans logistics companies as well as a global network.
Mr. Sanchez’s work ethic is based on loyalty, transparency, and total support for the team work.
Mr. Sanchez’s mastery of the skills involve the marketing and sale of all models from 1PL to 4PL, freight-forwarder, consolidator, forwarding agent, groupage, warehousing, e-commerce, ocean-freight, air-freight, land-freight, cross border and brokerage.
Mr. Sanchez is happily married more than 20 years with two children. Together with wife, he dedicates his free time to their children by assisting them in all their trainings, practices and execution of all their daily school activities and hobbies. In addition to the above, Mr. Sanchez likes to hike and enjoys outdoor recreational activities.
The key duties of Mr. Sanchez, as a Key Account Manager, are business retention and developments of our largest and strategic customers assigned to him. Mr. Sanchez reports directly to Timo Harres , Head of Sales Americas, and is based in the Mexico City office.
